Psych360 Releases Updated Infographic Tool to Help Maryland Long Term Care Facilities Determine Psychiatric Standing

Psych360 created and launched an infographic in May that displays data measuring the average percentage of incidents experienced by residents in Nursing Homes, including Assisted Living Facilities and Skilled Nursing Facilities. This week, they released a new infographic with updated information to assist these Long Term Care Facilities in comparing how they rank against national averages and Maryland state averages in several categories of care. The statistics are sourced from medicare.gov and are displayed in an easy to read view of both long- and short-term residents. Psych360 will continue to update the infographic as new data is released.

The categories of care referenced include:

• Falls resulting in injuries

• Use of physical restraints

• Administration of antipsychotic medication

• Prevalence of depression symptoms

• Use of antianxiety/hypnotic medication

The infographic is available on the Psych360 website, as well as on their Facebook and LinkedIn pages. Subscribers to the company’s e-updates will receive the infographic–as well as any updates to the Ohio infographic–and other resources in their inbox.

Psych360 is an APRN led group seeking to provide psychiatric care to Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing Facilities and struggling quality providers. In September, they attended the Life Span Network annual conference in Maryland to network with facilities in the area and learn about new techniques in psychiatric services. The expanding company currently provides services to Long Term Care facilities throughout Ohio and Maryland.
