In this time of crisis, when everyone is trying to Stay Safe, there is also a call for us to do whatever we can to help. Earth Enterprise in New York City is taking the call seriously. Designated an essential vendor in New York and New Jersey, Earth Enterprise remains open for business with 90% of their office staff still in action and working remotely. Each employee is doing their part to help clients stay on track with projects, while continuing to help the community.
To generate funds for the community, Earth Enterprise started a fundraising effort that is featuring artist prints which may be purchased online, and then are printed digitally and delivered to buyers, with all profits going to local COVID-19 charities. The fundraiser has generated $110,000 in the first 4 days since the project commenced. In addition to GiveWorld, Earth is taking steps and producing products in the fight against the COVID-19 virus. Another program championed is taking on an active partnership with Air Co, a Brooklyn-based vodka distillery that has started concentrating on producing hand sanitizers. Responsibilities include the manufacture of carbon neutral, waterproof, bridgeable labels for both the vodka and the hand sanitizer, and sourcing glass bottles and pumps from overseas. The project has been so successful Earth Enterprise is printing a second run of 50,000 units.
Another project Earth recently completed is a COVID-19 Patient Education Information package for healthcare providers. This project requires producing and mailing rack brochures, display sheets, and informational posters. From receipt of In-Design files, to mail in under a week. EE is now on their third mailing.
Lastly, as an outreach venture, Earth Enterprise has responded to the elderly need for delivered food boxes; especially to those house-bound elderly at risk. These weekly deliveries are a lifeline to those most vulnerable. Making contact with them though, is more than just about food; it’s about letting people know they are not alone. As a special treat, donuts were delivered to homes with children. All the thanks needed were grateful smiles!
