Kennected Linkedin Article Talks About Options for Those Who Had to Cancel Business Trips Due to Coronavirus

Kennected Linkedin is a company that realizes the current virus crisis facing America has altered the way business is being done. That’s why they have just posted an article with a few suggestions on ways for those that can no longer meet their business clients face to face to still conduct business. They say that their suggestions in the article can even help professionals like doctors see their patients remotely now that they can no longer meet in person. The company says this is all possible thanks to today’s modern technologies.

Company spokesperson, Devin Johnson, talked about this more by saying, “We believe that many of you that had to cancel your business trip due to Coronavirus? Because of this you will need solid options to still conduct business. Although it is no longer possible to meet clients face to face, the next best way to have a more personal type meeting is for a professional to meet a client in the virtual world. Other than you can’t give someone a welcoming handshake, it’s the next best thing to being there in person. By taking advantage of today’s excellent communication technology, companies like ours are helping more and more professionals bridge the communication gap created by the current virus crisis and still be able to conduct business.”

The article itself took special note that at present technology allows people many more options to communicate remotely by video than ever before. It says thirty years ago it would not have been possible for a patient to have a doctor help diagnose their strep throat if they were not being seen in person or for a group of business managers to have a conference-call meeting where a dozen people were present. Nowadays people have access to technology that can do all of this and more. The article went on to point out several video solutions that are as close as two people or more can get to meeting face to face.

The first way that the article mentioned on how to communicate using live video was through the use of one’s own smartphone. It says most of these phones are set up so people can easily have one on one chats with another person. The Kennected article also went on to say that many business people and professionals were now using the popular video chat and messaging platform Skype to communicate with customers, clients, and patients. This is a very convenient way to go because the program is accessible for both computer users and those with smart devices. Amazon Echo and Amazon Chime were also mentioned in the article as a way for professionals to conduct business with each other. It says this platform is unique because it allows individuals to talk on larger video chat screens and the device has the ability to allow a computer screen to track the speaker’s movements. The article does mention that the platform does not allow for making conference calls.

Another video and messaging service that was highlighted in the blog article was Zoom. It was pointed out that this is a very similar platform to Skype with one big exception; it is fully cloud-based. The article mentioned it was now being used extensively for video conferencing, conducting webinars, and for remote classroom instruction between teachers and students. UberConference was another cloud-based communication service that the article gave high marks too. This was based on the fact that it allows for up to 50 people to participate in a remote business meeting all at once and it also now allows for longer duration calls during the current pandemic.

The last type of way to communicate remotely using video that was mentioned in the article was the company’s service Kennected.Org. It’s a service that connects through LinkedIn, the popular employment and information/social media site for individuals and businesses alike. The service works very well because it uses an interface that that thousands of companies and professionals already use every day. This eliminates the need for businesses to use much valuable time and effort to search for another video platform. The video conferencing feature of this service will help people get through the current economic storm because they can still meet, discuss plans, delegate tasks, and conduct most of their business safely from their home office or wherever they are working.
