Google Maps and several other websites show Greyhound buses from Reno to Portland. These online portals claim that Greyhound takes 23 hours and 20 minutes with a connection in Sacramento, but a search for Reno to Portland tickets on Greyhound's website shows that there are no actual routes available.
Luckily, RNO PDX Bus Lines offers direct bus services departing from Reno NV at 8:05 am and arriving at Portland OR at 5:45 pm. The bus to Portland departs every Friday while returning trips are available every Sunday. Travel time for the 535-mile ride from Reno NV to Portland OR takes only 9 hours and 40 minutes.
