To determine the winners, asphalt contractors from all over the country are asked to fill out a survey sometime between January and April regarding the paving and other related services that they completed during the previous calendar year. Those at the magazine will then look at such things as total sales, profit margin, the number of customers served, the total number of jobs that were completed, and the types of paving services that a company offered. The completed surveys not only help determine who should be recognized for their exceptional paving and other related services during the previous calendar year, but the information that’s gained from the surveys provides pavement contractors like Erickson Asphalt with valuable information on how to shape and grow their business.
