White Label CBD Oil Manufacturer Alpha Therapeutics Launches Brand New CBG Pain Cream

Alpha Therapeutics, a white label CBD oil manufacturer and distributor, has launched its new 2:1 Pain Cream that is meant to be used for temporary relief from muscle tightness, muscle tension, muscle soreness, joint pain, joint discomfort, strains, aches, and pains. The name of the product, 2:1, refers to the ratio of the concentration or potency of the two primary ingredients in the cream - 1000 mg Cannabidiol (CBD) and 500 mg Cannabigerol (CBG). The cream is available in a package size of 2 ounces that retails for $49.99.

CBD is a cannabinoid, an umbrella name for natural compounds found in plants of the Cannabis genus. CBG, however, is considered as a precursor to cannabinoids. They are both non-intoxicating, unlike THC. THC is the psychoactive cannabinoid in marijuana that can cause side effects such as increased heart rate, coordination problems, dry mouth, red eyes, slower reaction times, memory loss, and anxiety. Manufacturing a THC-free product is in line with the company’s mission of offering patients superior pain mitigation and pain management benefits without the psychoactive element present in medical marijuana.

CBD and CBG are both known to have anti-inflammatory effects. Research into CBD has shown it to be effective against a range of health issues such as seizures, anxiety, insomnia, psychosis, nausea, migraine, depression, chronic inflammatory pain, and chronic neuropathic pain. Though research into CBG for pain relief is scant compared to the effects of CBD, the former has been shown to be useful against inflammatory bowel disease, glaucoma, bladder dysfunction, Huntington’s disease, bacterial infections, and appetite loss.

The full list of ingredients in the 2:1 Pain Cream includes organic aloe leaf juice, organic coconut oil, DMAE bitartrate, cannabidiol, cannabigerol, DMSO, emulsifying wax, stearic acid, glycerin, organic jojoba seed oil, meadowfoam seed oil, avocado fruit oil, witch hazel water, phenoxyethanol, vitamin E, sunflower seed oil, MSM, organic white willow bark extract, organic neem seed oil, organic rosemary leaf extract, organic sunflower seed oil, organic alcohol, xanthan gum, and tetrasodium glutamate diacetate.

The cream is DMSO-based, which is a vehicle for topical application of pharmaceuticals, that helps medicines get through the skin. The cream also contains MSM and DMAE, which are compounds that are commonly used in cosmetics to firm skin, reduce wrinkles, and smooth complexion. The cream also contains meadowfoam oil, which is another ingredient that is widely used in cosmetic and hair-care applications. The company claims that the CBG pain cream is completely vegan with 75% organic content.

The company, Alpha Therapeutics claims that all of its oil tinctures and healing balms utilize organic, fair trade raw materials that are triplicate tested to ensure exceptional product quality. The company’s product packaging includes a unique QR code to provide physicians and other caregivers with individual clinical test results and data that pertain to their exact batch. This measure stems from its philosophy of complete transparency to prove the efficacy of its products. The company’s goal is to become the foremost distributor of high-quality CBD-based oil tinctures and healing balms in the marketplace.

Dr. Tyler Southwell, the Chief Medical Officer for Alpha Therapeutics, details his reasons for joining the company by saying, “Prior to deciding to join forces with Alpha Therapeutics, I was skeptical of the true clinical utility of CBD-based products for my patients, despite promising clinical research, given the completely unregulated sourcing environment. After using AT’s products on myself, my own family, and then increasingly with my diverse patient population, I found irrefutable proof of surprising effect. To fully embrace this though I decided I needed to be a part of this at every level to ensure the product’s quality and be able to use it with at least as much confidence as I do pharmaceuticals. I believe in what we are doing from sourcing the highest quality ingredients, and our uncompromising production process including post-production testing of every product until it leaves our facility. My goal is to bring this to clinicians like myself who are looking for safe alternatives for their patients and to provide the type of process and quality assurance they expect from a product used in the clinical environment - which has been lacking so far.”
