Thousand Oaks, Calif. - Express Employment Professionals of Thousand Oaks is teaming up with the Ventura County Fire Department for the Spark of Love Holiday Toy Drive. The Toy Drive will last from November 16th to December 10th. All toys collected, as well as any donations made, will be distributed to local non-profits to bring joy to children in need. Currently, Spark of Love is thousands of toys behind pace due to an increase in demand this year, which is why the beloved staffing agency is jumping in to help.
People can participate in the Toy Drive in four different ways. Those interested in donating can request a donation bag from Express Thousand Oaks. A second option is dropping off an unwrapped toy at either the Thousand Oaks or Oxnard Express office. A third option is giving online to the Ventura County Professional Firefighters Association Charity Fund (all proceeds go to purchasing toys or sports equipment for the children). Finally, purchase an item from the Spark of Love registry (all online purchases will be delivered to Toy Central for distribution). Also, a raffle will be held, for those who have contributed to the Spark of Love Toy Drive hosted by Express Employment Professionals.
Neil McMillan, President of both the Thousand Oaks and Oxnard offices commented, “The Toy Drive is our way of spreading some joy to the children of Ventura County,” he continued, “We chose this particular organization because the fire department has continuously kept California safe and we wanted to show our support.”
